First, before one starts writing on a technical subject such as computer software, one must be familiar with what one is writing about. If the writer doesnââ¬â¢t understand the nature of the software he/she is writing about, he/she is certainly not going to be able to write clearly and well on how to use the software. So first it is key to have enough knowledge about the topic so that one can create a basic outline for the technical writing project.
